Site and Fire Safety Planning

In accordance with the NYC Department of Buildings, (Chapter 33 of the IBC and Applicable Rules, Regulations, Policies, Procedures), and OSHA guidelines, CODEWORX will visit the site and document existing considerations requiring site safety, create site safety logistics documents and submit to the NYC Department of Buildings, meet with the Building Enforcement Safety Team through an examination and approval of:

  • Noise Mitigation Protocols

  • Tenant Safety Protocols

Development and ZONING FEASIBILITY studies

CODEWORX can assist the developer and architect in evaluating property based on underling and applicable zoning offering solutions that will maximize the properties potential through establishing use, permitted bulk, setbacks, height restrictions and other applicable requirements. Our studies can be incorporated into the filing documents.

BUILDING CODE COMPLIANCE STUDIES

CODEWORX can assist in reviewing and evaluating contract documents based on applicable building codes, rules, regulations, local laws and technical policies and procedures. CODEWORX can research and prepare alternative arguments through the Code Determination Process using the 1938, 1968 and 2008 Building Codes. We can conduct a walk through inspections, research and investigate available municipal records and prepare a report of valuable information.

Municipal Filing Services

CODEWORX will assist in reviewing the contract documents, coordinate and prepare all required municipal applications, representing the filing at the governing agencies through examination, approval, permits, construction, inspections and certificate of occupancy.
